Installing your Vostra eSIM is a quick and simple process, allowing you to enjoy connectivity in an instant. Before you begin, you must have a stable and reliable internet connection.
Public Wi-Fi networks or weak mobile connections can sometimes compromise the installation process. This is why we strongly recommend that you prioritize a robust mobile network provided by your usual operator or a private, secure Wi-Fi connection during this crucial step.
Good to know: For complete peace of mind, we suggest installing your eSIM even before you depart for your trip. Once you arrive at your destination, you’ll simply need to activate your Vostra data plan to start browsing, communicating, and exploring without limits.

Installation via the Vostra App
From the home screen, locate and tap the “Install eSIM” button, then confirm your choice by clicking “Start Installation.” Then, follow the instructions specific to your device type:
For iPhone (iOS) users
When a window titled “Activate New eSIM” appears, confirm the operation by clicking “Allow.” Your iPhone will then automatically install your Vostra eSIM. Once this step is complete, a quick configuration is necessary for optimal use:
- Default Line: Select your main phone line. Since Vostra does not provide a phone number, this configuration will allow you to continue receiving your usual calls and SMS.
- Cellular Data: If you have already arrived at your destination, choose “Vostra” as your mobile data source. It is crucial to deactivate the “Allow Mobile Data Switching” option to prevent any unintentional use of data from your primary SIM card. This could lead to unforeseen additional charges. If you have not yet reached your destination, keep your primary line for cellular data until you arrive.
For Android users
The process is just as simple on your Android device. Click “Install eSIM now.” A window will ask if you wish to proceed via Wi-Fi. Confirm by clicking “yes,” and your Vostra eSIM will be installed automatically in the background, without requiring any further action from your side.
